Mobile Instructional Teams are available to travel to you location should you find that desireable. For such classes there are stringent registration and attendance requirements.

OVERVIEW: This Course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic handguns. Students learn the NRA rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and and operation. Carry techniques, holsters and firearms choice will be discussed at length. Ammunition, shooting fundamentals, dry-fire training, range rules, one and two handed standing positions, as well as continued opportunities for skill development are also taught. The student will develop reactionary competence through simulated situation and demanding initiative-based drills. Students will receive a course completion certificate.
- Gear selection and placement
- Shooting fundamentals (8 Principles of Marksmanship)
- Speed, Tactical and Emergency reloads
- Weapon malfunction drills
- Target Zone selection (1,2,3)
- Problem solving while shooting and moving
- Alternate shooting positions (Standing, Kneeling, Prone, Seated)
- Speed and accuracy drills (Rhythm Drills)
- Proper movement techniques (Safe)

PAYMENT: Enrollment is upon receipt of the course fee of $125.00 mailed to ---. The check should be made payable to--- and received by the Monday prior to the course. Should you subsequently decide to not participate you will be refunded 20% of the fee. We also understand that life throws curve balls and your unavoidable conflicts will accomodated to the best of our ability.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Semi-auto pistol of choice
- 3 or more magazines for pistol (6 for single stack)
- P1- 300 ROUNDS
- Ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Eye protection
- Holster and magazine pouches that will retain equipment when moving
- Water storage device (Camelback, Nalgene, whatever just drink water)
- Knee pads (optional but recommended)
- Gloves (optional but recommended)
- Clothing must be durable enough to perform during strenuous activity. We will be training in all weather conditions so pack accordingly.

FIREARM, HOLSTER AND AMMUNITION:
The firearm must be fully functional, have all factory installed safety devices intact, and have no dangerous modifications. We firmly beleive you should train with the firearm you will carry. Holsters must correctly fit the firearm, completely cover the trigger guard, remain open with the firearm removed, not allow the firearm to cover the shooter's body. The holster must not have a trigger guard retention function. Factory ammunition is required, no reloads are allowed. Minimum is 16 years of age when taking the class without parent.
